Chocowinity Middle School Recognizes Students for December's Character Trait

Chocowinity Middle School students who were nominated for the character trait of Perseverance during the month of January were treated to doughnuts and drinks at a special ceremony, Friday, January 27.  Dale Cole, Principal at CMS, read each of the teachers' nominations, and then presented each student with a certificate and gift bag.  Megan Godley won the overall middle school nomination, and Jamie Stallworth won the overall elementary nomination and was also chosen as the system level elementary winner.  Students were then given time to talk with each other and enjoy their doughnuts.



Students who were nominated for the character trait of perseverance for the month of January at Chocowinity Middle School were (front row) Trey Keyes, Miranda Crawford, Jesse Peralta, Taven Locke, Daisy Foster, Jamie Stallworth, Miracle Edwards, (back row) Principal Dale Cole, Sheila Casiano, Carlee Corey, Megan Godley, Jasmin Ayers, Tramane Barrett, Cassidy Alligood, Stone Lopez, and Jeneareria Wilkins.

Located in Chocowinity, North Carolina, CMS serves over 450 fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.  Students receive instruction based on the NC Standard Course of Study enhanced by extra-curricular activities including athletics and clubs.
